"Al-Othaim": The royal speech before the Shura Council is a roadmap for shaping the future

Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Othaim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Othaim Holding Company and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Othaim Charitable Foundation, expressed his praise for the contents of the royal speech at the opening of the first year of the ninth session of the Shura Council, delivered on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

"Al-Othaim" said: "The royal speech was comprehensive and extensive in the issues it addressed, the directives and incentives it carried, and its highlighting of the efforts of the wise leadership and its continuous endeavor to achieve the aspirations of its citizens and ensure their future by harnessing an integrated system of ambitious strategies and programs; with the aim of strengthening and developing infrastructure in vital sectors, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens in a way that contributes to achieving their hopes and aspirations."

He added that the speech, with its contents, drew a roadmap for a prosperous and bright future for our dear Kingdom, carried good tidings and reassurance, and highlighted the state's interests and its continuous endeavor to facilitate the business environment and support the private sector to enhance the comprehensive and sustainable development movement that our dear country has been witnessing since the launch of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

"Al-Othaim" indicated that the royal speech carried important messages regarding the Kingdom's positions on various regional, international, and local issues, and affirmed the Kingdom's constants, its wise and prudent policy, and the sound approach it has followed since its founding in 1727 AD, and then its unification by the unifying leader King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman - may God have mercy on him - (94) years ago.

He stressed that the blessed royal speech expressed the leadership's awareness of the extent of the challenges facing the region and the role played by the Kingdom in clearing the atmosphere, spreading a culture of peace, establishing the foundations of peace and stability, and enhancing interaction with peoples to consolidate the values of tolerance and coexistence, given its status and appreciation in various international forums.

"Al-Othaim" concluded his speech by praying that God preserve our country's security, peace, and stability under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
